5 DAYS – ESCORTED TOUR

Make a short trip to Northern Norway to experience the unique Northern Lights! Thanks to good flight connections you can experience the Arctic regions of Norway within a few days, and at the same time have sufficient time to try different winter activities. Alta and Tromsø are among the most popular destinations for hunting the Northern Lights and give you the best chances of witnessing this natural wonder.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL ALTA

Own arrangements on arrival to Alta and to your hotel. Day is at leisure until your evening Northern Lights Safari. You will be picked up at your hotel and will spend an evening with likeminded guests hoping to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights. The tour ends back at your hotel.

DAY 2: ALTA

This morning is at leisure. In the afternoon, meet with your tour leader, and soon after enjoy a visit to the Alta Museum to see the expositions about the local history of Northern lights. The remainder of the afternoon evening is free, and in Alta you have the chance to upgrade and experience a overnight stay in the Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel (supplement applies).

DAY 3: ALTA/TROMSØ (400 KM)

Today, drive along the Arctic fjords bound for Tromsø, former starting point of many North Pole expeditions. Free time before evening Northern Lights safari, where a light dinner will be included.

DAY 4: TROMSØ

Day at leisure in Tromsø, where you have the opportunity to take an optional snowmobile safari, husky safari or many more exciting excursions.

DAY 5: DEPARTURE TROMSØ

Own departure arrangements.
